Latest news of inspections and abandonments as the wet weather continues in Britain and Ireland.
There may be no turf racing in the UK on Sunday, with Newcastle abandoned following a 09:00 inspection on Saturday and a similarly waterlogged Exeter falling by the wayside on Friday, but today's Navan card has been given the go ahead in Ireland.
The meeting features two Grade 2’s, the Boyne Hurdle and the Ten Up Novices Chase.
New clerk of the course Brian Hamilton confirmed: “We have passed the inspection and its been a dry morning. According to Met Eireann no more rain is forecast."
The ground on both tracks at the County Meath venue is Heavy.
